ii_studio(m.moshayedy,pedram ghelichy) Just sent for DesignDaily Network his project in Queensland-Australia.

Here is the discretion by the designers:
One of the most interesting points of this project is the forty percent slope of its ground and locating in the highest place than other nearby buildings, so the house has a magnificent view to its opposite green area. Therefore, according to the site's characters, the basic idea of the project is formed in accordance with the maximum view to the green area and also the necessary privacy.

The buildings transparency has an impressive influence to the indoor in addition to create the maximum view to the outdoor. It is important to consider that the transparency has various concepts in architecture. Generally, in architecture transparency means the maximum view to the outdoor, but another meaning of transparency which is considered in this project is the extension of the outdoor space to the indoor with the support of natural (organic) materials Indeed, it’s a kind of emphasis on the sightly transparency. This function in addition to create a pleasant feeling for the inhabitants, creates a relation between indoor and outdoor space to emphasis on the concept of transparency more and more. This architectural and artistic trick is formed both private and public spaces such as bedrooms and livings room in this project. But the point that is particularly considered in the project is the effect of interior spaces on outdoor form, especially circulation spaces; the form and space of the villa is formed by the combination of transparency idea. It means that all the circulation spaces of the villa and entries are placed in a concrete cube volume that it’s horizontal volume and space emphasis on movement from both outside and inside. Besides, this volume itself has the circulation spaces, also plays the major structural role; in other words, it is the inhibitor element of inclined ceilings against wind and earthquake.

The structural role of the concrete cube causes the elimination separate columns in the villa.

At the end of the concrete cube a transparent glass stairway is placed which emphasizes on the sense of transparency and also helps having a better view to the nature from the opposite rectangular frame.

Furthermore, one of the specific areas of the villa that should be noted is the glass bridge which provides access to the terrace from the upper living room. The glass bridge causes the void space seems lighter and the view to the villa’s tree do not be weakened suddenly. Also, it emphasizes on the transparency of the villa.

In addition to the all the points mentioned above, sustainable design is considered in many cases such as designing the sunshades, landscape, and northern and southern skylights.
